National Junior Informatics Olympiad (NJIO) 2025 Information and Registration

About NJIO

The National Junior Informatics Olympiad empowers students to unlock their creativity, sharpen their logical reasoning, and master the art of algorithmic and computational thinking. By tackling thought-provoking challenges and applying design thinking to real-world problems, students will gain a deeper understanding of the world and discover how technology can be a powerful tool for positive change.

Through this journey, students will learn that coding is more than writing lines of code—it’s about crafting innovative solutions, designing smart algorithms, and thinking boldly to solve problems that matter. We aim to nurture a generation of thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers who are ready to turn ideas into action and shape the future with confidence and skill.

Objectives
Mission

Together with SIMCC, we aim to create a platform that opens doors for students in Laos to explore, learn, and cultivate a passion for informatics—preparing them to be future-ready and capable of competing on the global stage.

By embracing computational thinking, students will develop a systematic and structured approach to learning programming. Our unique methodology, which integrates design thinking and robotics, offers an engaging and intuitive introduction to coding. It also provides limitless opportunities to progress into more advanced projects, using an electronics platform that is trusted and loved by millions worldwide for creating real-world, impactful solutions.
