We are excited to introduce the Singapore Math Challenge (SMC) 2024 to both international and local schools across Laos. This initiative is part of our commitment to bringing the world-renowned Singapore Math curriculum to students in Laos, offering the challenge in both Lao and English languages to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all.

The Singapore Math method, developed in the 1980s by a dedicated team of educators from Singapore’s Ministry of Education, has been celebrated globally for its focus on developing deep conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills. By moving beyond rote memorization, Singapore Math encourages students to explore mathematical concepts through real objects, visual models, and symbolic representation, fostering a genuine interest and love for mathematics.

Our goal in bringing the Singapore Math Challenge to Laos is to inspire and nurture a passion for mathematics among students from all backgrounds. By participating in SMC 2024, students in Laos will have the unique opportunity to engage with high-quality educational materials used in over 70 countries worldwide. The challenge will not only help them improve their mathematical abilities but also provide them with valuable international exposure and insights into global best practices in education.

We believe that by offering SMC 2024 in both Lao and English, we can bridge the gap between local and international education standards, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to excel. This initiative aligns with our vision to prepare students in Laos to be future-ready, equipped with the skills and knowledge to contribute to their communities and succeed in a globalized world.

Join us in the Singapore Math Challenge 2024, and take the first step towards a brighter future in mathematics!
